About Us
Four Generations Building Forward
The tools have changed. The expectations have not. We build new homes, transform old ones, and stand behind the work. If you are planning a project in Sonoma Valley, we would be honored to help you bring it to life.

Our Story
More than 100 years ago, Scandinavian craftsman Sigurd Moll put down roots in Northern California and began building homes in and around Sonoma. He worked with simple rules that still guide us today: measure twice, respect the materials, keep the site clean, and finish what you start.

After World War II, Sigurd's son, John S. Moll, returned to the Valley and took the reins as general contractor. Under John’s leadership the company helped shape postwar Sonoma with new homes, careful remodels, and steady maintenance on the historic fabric that defines the town. Clients trusted the work because it was clear, orderly, and built to last.

In the 1990s, John's son, Mike Moll, carried the family trade to the Sierras, building custom homes in Truckee and the Northstar resort community. Mountain projects sharpened our logistics and planning. Weather windows are tight. Access can be tricky. Materials have to be staged with precision. That discipline is now part of our DNA.

Today the company has come full circle. Casey Moll has brought the brand home to Sonoma Valley and rebuilt the operation around a simple promise: clean job sites, reliable schedules, respectful crews, and budgets that match reality. We build custom homes and major remodels with a process homeowners can understand from the first call to the final walk-through.
At the Helm
Casey leads Moll Construction with equal parts field discipline and client focus. A 2011 graduate of Chico State with a degree in construction management, he moved straight into building and learned early that clear scope, honest schedules, and tidy job sites prevent most problems. He later earned his real estate license, giving him a practical lens on how homes live, what buyers value, and which design choices create long-term return. Casey’s approach is simple: align expectations in preconstruction, communicate weekly, document changes, and finish strong with a clean punch and complete closeout. He is known for steady coordination with architects and subs, respectful crews, and calm under pressure when the plan meets real life. Casey lives in Sonoma with his wife, Hannah, and their three kids, Canyon, Daisy, and Austen.
